I havent blogged in a while, but wanted to fill you in with my weekend. I participated in the annual National Scrapbook convention with Creative Memories, it was an all weekend event. I was able to complete and finish my Artisan Design Team application which I will be sending off this week and I started on my card layouts for my Trade show in November. I plan to make 20 different templates and then I will replicate them to sell at the show, I will also be making handmade gifts, ornaments gift card holders and some stocking stuffers so I will be busy but I look forward to it.
Here is the start to my Christmas card templates that I will be selling. Thoughts?

This and That journaling
Had a moment to write in my this and that journal from stampin up today which by the way I LOVE :) wrote about my wonderful evening with my friends and family for my 30th birthday celebration. I couldn't have asked for a better evening, everyone that I love and who means the world to me was there and I thank all of you for that! It was fantastic and very special! Here are some photos to share with you about my nights festivities!
As you can see some of my friends gave me the experience of what we call "muffdiver" oh man the last time I remember doing one of these was when I was 19 years old.....Good times! I aced it pretty good with very little whip cream on my face though so age comes with experience I would like to add!

Moms and Dads
A few more to add to the collection today! My fathers birthday is on Tuesday so thought I better get on making him a card, then I need to prep some cards for another class I have coming up and by fluke it happens to be the day before Mother's Day so I thought it would only be fit to include a card just for our moms so that we have no excuses for not having anything ready! I am sure the girls will enjoy that, and to end by sending a kiss!

C is for Congrats
My girlfriend just got engaged a week ago and I decided to make her a nice card to formerly congratulate her! I hope she likes it, I'm sure she will its the thought that counts right! Enjoy friends!
White Butterflies
I've always said "if it's missing something just add butterflies" as you can see I'm a butterfly natzie and seem to always include them in my cards although lately I have veered away a little bit. But this card I do love cause its very simple but the butterflies just make the card finished!
I layered 2 pieces of whisper white on top of each other and just added a small amount of color, good combo I would say.
Enjoy friends!

Life is a Daring Adventure
I love this stamp set its so rustic and really is very versatile, I chose to use the stamp layering technique. One of my favourite methods as it adds texture and some design with not a lot of product! Just some ink and your stamp set! Hope you like, let me know your thoughts! Will be using this in one of my workshops next week!
Enjoy

April 11, 2013
So I'm officially 4 days away from turning 30 and I am looking forward to it, my girlfriend tells me today. "With age comes wisdom" and I say so true I quiet enjoy it and really want to embrace this time in my life as its been some of the best I've ever experienced. I am thankful for the people in my life, the friends I have and cherish deeply and have always been by my side, my family, the man I have had the pleasure to share my life with for the last 2 years and his wonderful 2 children. Honestly I couldn't have it any better, and I know I may have taken things for granted at times but at the end of the day they make a difference in my life and I am very thankful for that. So here's to 30 I'm ready for you!
Thanks
Part of the Sal-a-bration collection which was great this year, this stamp set was part of it and I just love the vintage look to it. This is part of my advertising card collection that I give to anyone who made my day, coffee barista, grocery clerk, sales person, tattoo artist etc. I always love seeing their reaction when I give it to them always makes my day!
Notepads
So these are one of my favorites, they are really simple to make and only require a note pad with no cover and they work as wonderful gift ideas! I mean who doesn't use a notepad for something, why not make it a pretty one :)
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
